Breeding and showing cats be very rewarding, but it can also be very time consuming and expensive. Breeding from your cat is an important decision that must be given careful consideration.
By breeding pedigree cats, you are making a commitment to care for the welfare of every cat you breed and sell. Reputable breeders will be concerned where their cats are placed and continue to show an interest in the welfare of their kittens after they have gone to their new homes.
Preparing for a show should begin several weeks beforehand. Make sure  your cat is in top condition and top health. Cleanliness is very important for all cats being exhibited (pay attention to the ears, eyes and tail for dirt).
When you get to the show – check all equipment before living (litter tray, food and water bowls, a blanket, grooming equipment, toys…) and provides a secure means of transporting your cat.
Arriving at a Cat Show – give cat time to settle in its pen before judging takes place. Put a litter tray with clean litter, a water and food bowl, and a clean blanket. Give your cat a final grooming, and check ears, eyes and tail for dirt. Good show cats must also accept handling by strangers (training for this handling begin almost from birth).
